CRIPPLED CHILDREN

WAIRARAPA EXECUTIVE BOYS PLACED IN EMPLOYMENT. At the monthly meeting of the Executive of the Wairarapa branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society the Welfare Officer. Mrs S. N. Kilgour, reported on visits made to 26 cases of which 11 were receiving treatment. Eight other cases were reviewed. Two boys have been placed in suitable employment in Wellington, one with a Government Department and the other with a firm of manufacturers. Mi’ C. D. Robertson was elected as an annual member of the society. The following donations from local bodies are acknowledged with thanks: Carterton Borough Council £5 ss; Wairarapa South County Council £5: Castlepoint County Council £5; Eketahuna Borough Council .£2 2s. It was resolved to send a letter of thanks to Mr Evans for giving a new pair of boots to a crippled boy.
