WORK RESUMED
IN STATE COAL MINES. TERMS NOT YET DISCLOSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, July 8. The State mines resumed operations today and though the terms of the preliminary settlement of the dispute have not been disclosed, it is understood that the youth concerned has returned to work, being employed on an outside job till the settlement is completed. Three representatives of the union are to leave for Wellington to discuss an aspect of the dispute with the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser.
