LAND & AIR OPERATIONS PATROLS PENETRATE ENEMY FRONT. HEAVY ITALIAN LOSSES IN ABYSSINIA. (British Official Wireless.) z (Received This Day. 11.50 a.m.) RUGBY. July 7. An official communique issued at Nairobi states: “Yesterday morning British Moyal’e was shelled for ten minutes, and again in the afternoon, without casualties. Two enemy aircraft early yesterday morning dropped bombs on a small village in a northern frontier district without any results. A number of goats were machine-gunned, but so far no damage is reported.” A. Cairo war communique states: “In the Western district, our patrols again penetrated the enemy front and cut a water pipeline'from Bardia to Fort Capuzzo. “Further particulars of enemy casualties at Kassala, in Abyssinia, on Thursday, are eight light tanks, two aircraft and 300 men.”
