CHURCH SERVICES
Those interested in the Baptist Fellowship meetings in Masterton will note with satisfaction that an executive party of the Wellington Baptist YoungMen’s Bible Class Union will conduct the service in the Y.M.C.A. at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The services at Knox Church. It Whiti and Westmere tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie The service at Matahiwi will be in charge of the Bible Class Group. At all these services special prayers will be offeied up for the Empire. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church on' Sunday. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at 11 a.m.. and the Rev. Hepa Taepa at 7 p.m. The Rev. T. V. Pearson will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Brigadier Powick and Major Briddock from Wellington. Brigadier Powick, who was the manager of the Whatman Home for two years, is well known in Masterton. The Orange Lodge will hold its church parade tomorrow and will attend the Army's evening service. Brigadier Powick will address the gathering. The morning service at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be taken by the Rev. R. Dickie, and the evening service by the Rev. D. McNeur. who will also preach at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be "The Men God Can Use." In the evening Mr Kings will take as his subject. "What is That in Thine Hand.” The service will conclude with the sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
