ST. LUKE’S CHURCH LADIES' GUILD MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of St Luke's Ladies' Guild was held in the Parish Hall yesterday afternoon. In the absence of the president Mrs York piesided. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Keedwell, Sykes and Canon Sykes. Mrs Smallwood's resignation was received with regret. Mrs Wood proposed that the parish social be postponed until a later date. This was seconded by Mrs Burch and carried. ~ The secretary was instructed to write to Miss Kidd conveying the good wishes of the members for a speedy reC °The wandering shilling went to Mrs York. The matter of the church flowers was dealt with. Miss Duff consenting to attend to this for July and Mrs Wood for August. Mrs Beu proposed a vote of thanks to the tea hostesses. This was seconded by Mrs Duff and carried by acclamation. Mrs Kidd thanked 'Miss Tate for bringing the wood. Mrs York closed the meeting with prayer. TRUST LAND TRUST MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Giejtown Trust Trustees was held last evening. Those present were Messrs F. Dennes (chairman), H. Waldin, A. H. York, H. G. Carter, W. H; Day and Mr B. Kiernan (secretary). Leave was granted to Mr H. J. Nightingale. The Trust solicitors forwarded an opinion that the Trustees could make grants for patriotic purposes. It was resolved that one month s notice be given to the occupiers oi Trust sections in arrears with rent. Minor repairs to buildings and fences were authorised. MINIATURE RIFLES LAST NIGHT'S SCORES. There was a good attendance at the practice shoot of the Greytown Miniature Rifle Club last night. Results: A grade: H. Gray 67, R. Tilson 70, J. Yeomans 68, R. Ingley 67, Miss C. Gray 69, Miss A.
