DANCE AT REWANUI
BIG SUM RAISED FOR RED CROSS FUNDS. (“Times-Age" Special.) Mr R. Liverton's woolshed, “Rewanui," Blairlogie, was thronged with a happy crowd of dancers last night when a ball organised in aid of the Red Cross funds proved to be an outstanding success, both socially and financially. As a result of the effort over £lO5 was raised, made up from £l2 taken at the door and £62 collected in raffles. Music was supplied bj’ three orchestras, and Mr W, Levin was an efficient M.C. An excellent supper was provided, under the direction of Mrs and Miss Liverton and Miss Morrison, of Awatoitoi. Dancing was continued until an early hour this morning, being brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem.
