TECHNICAL KNOCK OUT
MAX BAER BEATS GALENTO. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, July 2. Max Baer technically knocked out Tony Galento in a heavyweight boxing match at Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City. Galento was unable to answer the bell for the eighth round of the scheduled 15-round bout. The winner will meet Joe Louis in September. Galento weighed 24441 b. and Baer 22111 b.
