FIRE IN NAPIER
WOOL STORE & CONTENTS DESTROYED. ESTIMATED LOSS OF £l7 000. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, This Day. A fire early this morning totally destroyed, the Farmers' Wool Scouring Co building and approximately 800 bales of wool, purchased by the Imperial Government, under the commandeer scheme. The wool was valued at about £12,000 and the building and plant at £5OOO.
