Mrs E. Dye and Mr H. Dye (Wellington) were at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton, yesterday. Miss Ruth Mackay, Cornwall Street, Masterton, will shortly leave for- Wellington where she will train as a Karitanc- nurse.
Mr and Mrs J. T. Burrell, Bourke Street, Palmerston North, celebrated the sixty-fifth anniversary of their marriage on Sunday. Mrs S. Agar, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs R. C. Drummond. Lansdowne, is at present visiting Wellington. Miss E. Daniell, Mathon Lodge. Masterton, who has been staying with her sister. Mrs J. A. Smith. Palmerston North, has returned to Masterton.
