IRAQUI MINISTER
VISIT TO DAMASCUS ON WAY HOME FROM TURKEY. STATUS OF SYRIA DISCUSSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 9.10 a.m.) DAMASCUS, July 2. The Foreign Minister of Iraq has arrived from Ankara, on route ,to Bagdad by air. It is understood that he discussed with the Turkish Government the future status and security of Syria. The Minister, during his slay here, conferred with Syrian politicians and with the British and Turkish consuls.
