RUGBY FOOTBALL

RED STAR CLUB. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Red Star Football Club’s management committee was held last night at the residence of Mr and Mrs S. Henson. Macara Street, Masterton. Mr R. Milne was in the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. Business of a routine nature was transacted. It was reported that a film on Rugby football would be shown in Masterton at a future date, and would be of special interest to footballers and followers of the game. It was stated that it was imperative that players should become covered by insurance under the Wairarapa Rugby Union scheme, or otherwise the Union would not recognise claims for insurance. Supper was provided by Mr and Mrs Henson who were accorded a vote of' thanks for their hospitality.
