GOLF ECLECTIC COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following were the best cards handed in for the eclectic competition, held on Saturday afternoon by the Featherston Golf Club: —A. White 39--8-31. H. Neilson 43-12-31, J. McCallum 37-5-32, L. Benton 42-8-34, H. Lovegrove 43-9-34. Personal Items. Nurse McKay, of the Wellington Hospital staff, was a weekend visitor to her home in Pahautea. Pilot V. Bargh, New Plymouth, is home on leave. He will later leave for Blenheim. Fall of Snow. The lower ranges are covered with snow, following on a heavy fall.
