CLEARING SALE
KEEN COMPETITION FOR COWS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., report having held a very successful sale of dairy stock and sundries on account of Mr W. Simpson at Eketahuna, whose lease has expired. The cows, which came forward in excellent condition, were keenly competed for and averaged £ll 3s. Prices for cows ranged from £8 to £l4 10s; for springing heifers, from £6 to £10; and weaner heifers, £3 7s. Milking plant, £4O; separator. £25; draught horse. £29. Sun dries realised satisfactory prices.
