REPORTED MISSING IN FRANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. News has been received that ActingMajor G. 13. Ward, who was on active service in France, is reported to be missing. He is a son of Mr 11. H. Ward, of Knight's Road. Lower Hutt, and went to England before the war. He joined the British Army, in which he found rapid promotion. Major Ward is well known in New Zealand golf and was a finalist in the German championship. shortly before the outbreak of hostilities.
