The outstanding game in the women's B section was between Hosiery and McKenzie’s, and a fast exciting contest resulted. In the women’s A grade, C. Smith's sprang a surprise in holding W.F.C.A. to a draw and were a little unlucky not to win. the latter team obtaining its last goal right on time. Woolworth’s defeated Hugo’s in a close game. The former's defence, with A. Burgess an outstanding player, was too solid for the opposition.
The men’s game between Reliance B and Bouzaid’s, was a pleasure to watch. Fast and exciting play showed the two teams at their best.
