EXPORT OF HIDES
REDUCTION IN THE LEVY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Hides Committee announces a further deduction in the export levy on hides. The new rates are: —Ox, cow, bull and yearlings, 1-16 of a penny per pound; calkskins, other than freezers, one farthing. These rates are in respect to hides loaded on an overseas steamer on or after June 29.
