HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KIATERE CLUB. SATURDAY’S EVENTS. On Saturday the Kialere Harrier Club will hold its annual five-mile club championship for the Albert Cox Memorial Cup. The race should be very keenly contested and it would appear as if W. Burns, R. Greeks and W. MacDonald will fight out the finish. However, Alex MacDonald and W. Teahen should also run well. The junior members will compete in the annual 2J-mile club championship for the Turnbull Trophy. N. Jacobsen may be the favourite, but F. Sexton and S. Pickett should be close at the finish. The events will start from the Solway Showgrounds at 2.30 p.m.
