GOLD MINING

COMPANY RETURNS. White’s Electric dredge reports a return for the week ended June 20 of 28 ounces of gold from 12,220 cubic yards worked in 130 hours. Addison’s Flat gold return for the fortnight ending June 20 was 38oz for 36 shifts. For the period ended June 19, the Molyneux Gold Dredging Company's dredge recovered 103 oz in 75 hours. Because of the very low level at present of the Kakarau River the company’s dredge has temporarily ceased operations, which will be resumed immediately river conditions permit.
