STOCK MARKET

ADDINGTON SALE. PRICES FIRMER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 26. At the Addington stock market today, smaller entries were forward, and firmer sales took place, particularly for fat cattle. Only a few store sheep were penned, and a slightly better tone prevailed. The fat cattle forward totalled 342, the smallest yarding of the season. There was a big jump in values, ranging from 30s to 40s a head better for the better classes and from 20s to 30s for lines of ordinary quality.
