CALEDONIAN SOCIETY

MEETING OF DIRECTORS. DR HOSKING MADE LIFE MEMBER A meeting of the directors of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society was attended by Mr R. McKenzie (chairman) and seven others. One new member was proposed and accepted. It was resolved that Dr Archer Hosking be made an honorary life member of the society in view of the splendid support he had given the society in past years.

The sum of £3OO is to be loaned to the Government free of interest for the duration of the war and 12 months thereafter.

The first Ingleside of the season is to be held early in July.
