HASTWELLS
TENNIS CLUB DANCE (“Times-Age” Special.) At the Hastwells Tennis Club’s annual end-of-the-season dance in the Hastwells Hall the cups won during the season were presented by the Patron. Mr H. E. Greathead. The following is the list of the winners: Ladies’ handicap singles (trophy presented by Mr A. G. Thorby), Miss Elva Dick; men’s handicap singles (trophy presented by Mr A. V. Madsen). Mr E. Sigvertsen; ladies' handicap singles, runner-up (trophy presented by Mr B. Dick), Miss Avis Dick; men’s handicap singles, run-ner-up (trophy presented by Mr B. Dick), won outright by Mr W. Ngatuere; men’s handicap singles (trophy presented by Mr L. H. Morris), won outright by Mr R. Dick; ladies’ handicap singles, B grade (trophy presented by Mrs J. Dick), Miss Frances Ngatuere; men's handicap singles, B grade (trophy presented by Mrs J. Dick), Mr K. Wilson.
The Hastwells Club again won the Greathead Challenge Cup for the fourth year in succession.
