HITLER’S AGENT
APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL STUELPNAGEL.
(Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) BERLIN, June 25.
Herr Hitler has appointed General Heinrich von Stuelpnagel chairman of the Armistice Commission, with headquarters at Wiesbaden, whither the French are invited to send representatives. It is not known whether Italy will be represented or will arrange a separate commission. The people in Berlin heard the bugle for “cease fire” over the radio without any extraordinary enthusiasm.
