FURTHER SUPPLIES ON HAND. APPEAL FOR BUTTONS. NEEDLES AND SAFETY PINS. Material for the making of a further supply of hussifs has been received by the Masterton Ladies’ Patriotic Committee. Buttons for shirts,- underpants and trousers, needles with large eyes afety pins and string are required fol the completion of the hussifs and the committee appeals for donations. It is pointed out that buttons need not necessarily be new. About 6000 button? are required to fill the quota. Certain schools in the district have contributed supplies and it is expected that others will make a similar effort. Donations may be left at the Ladies’ Rest Room. Dixon Street.
