NEW INSTALLATIONS BY LYTTLE & CO.
Owing to increased business Messrs Lyttle and Co find it needful to turn out their work more quickly and they have therefore installed the latest and most up-to-date precision machines for grinding and setting all classes of lawn mowers. They state: Our expert, Mr J. H. Lyttle, has had over 40 years experience with hand mowers and 23 years experience witli all classes of motor driven mowers. Mowing machines are taken right down, immersed in a cleaning bath, every part inspected and rebuilt with the precision and care given to your car. We have large stocks of spare parts and material for all makes of machines, every job is turned out promptly and we will guarantee every machine for adjustments, etc for six months after repair. No matter how old or badly worn your machine may be. we will give you a price to put this is good order and it will be guaranteed as new.
We have also recently installed the latest machine for grinding and resetting reaper and binder knives and it is now possible for farmers to have these ground and set, equal to new. New knives may also be fitted if required. With a special set of grinding and polishing wheels we can now grind or sharpen any farm, or household tools; this includes hedge hay knives, pruners and all classes of scissors and knives, etc.
Our electrical Department is fully equipped for testing and repairing all makes of generators, starters and magnetos. We have the most powerful remagnetising outfit in the Wairarapa and a special plant for running, testing and adjusting generators under load before replacing in your car, thus every magneto, starter and generator is fully tested and carries our 12 months guarantee after repair. The above departments are in charge of Mr J. H. Lyttle, who has been in business in Masterton for the past 40 years and who has the distinction of having worked on the first motor car which came to Masterton.
Cur motor repair department is in the capable hands of Mr Ted Lyttle with a reliable staff of A grade mechanics who can handle all repairs, adjustment and greasing of any make of cars?
