Hosiery beat Cathies 8/0. MEN’S SECTION. Vesta Batteries drew with Reliance B 8/8. State Kitchenette beat Reliance A 10/6. Bouzaids beat W.F.C.A. 14/7. NOTES ON THE GAMES. (Contributed.) In the B grade the fast improving Graham’s team played splendidly against McKenzie's and they deserve credit for the manner in which they have improved since the season began. M. Prout and T. Jones both played particularly well for this team. In the A grade, the new Hospital team should be hard to beat in future. All new to the indoor game they showed snap and sparkle in their play.

Stock and Station staved off a determined challenge from W.F.C.A. in a somewhat disappointing game. The former team appeared to have the situation in hand all the way. Vesta Batteries and Reliance B gave the best exhibition seen this season in the men’s game. It was basketball at its best and the score 8 all was a fitting result. Bodie played his best game to date; Pullar was sound on defence and at the right time shot into position to notch two splendid goals. Vesta’s attacking line was closely watched but Leete with the few chances he received, showed that he is still the best goal-thrower in the competition. Wickens at defence also played an excellent game. A player of the quiet unobtrusive type, he nevertheless gets through a tremendous amount of work. Bouzaid’s accounted for W.F.C.A. comfortably, and is a team that is going to be hard to beat.
