FIRE BRIGADE MEETING LONG SERVICE OF MEMBER. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Featherston Volunteer Fire Brigade. Supt. Tidswell presided over a good attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Supt. Tidswell applied for a two-yc-ars’ gold bar in connection with his completion of 33 years' service with the brigade. Foreman P. Habib applied for a 2 years’ silver bar on his completing 13 years’ service.

The team to shoot for the Winchester Cup on Tuesday next will be: — Messrs A. Hodder, B. Williams, W. Johnston. I. Feast, J. Viles, A. Cook. Personal Items. Pilot Officer Robert Clifford Douglas McKenzie, who is reported missing, is a nephew of Mrs A. W. Edwards, of Featherston.
