PETROL RATIONING

The Minister of Supply, Mr Stewart, announced that the Federal Ministry had decided to introduce a petrol rationing scheme. Details are being worked out. Rationing will become effective in about six weeks. The Government aims at a thirty-three per cent reduction in petrol consumption.
