ITALIAN SHIPS
ATTEMPT TO SCUTTLE SIX AT GIBRALTAR.
PROMPT ACTION BY NAVAL PARTIES.

Six Italian ships attempted to scuttle themselves in Gibraltar Harbour on Monday evening. Naval parties and dockyard tugs took prompt action and successfully beached the majority. One remained afloat undamaged.
