INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTERHOUSE COMPETITION. DRAW FOR THURSDAY NIGHT. The following is the draw for the Interhouse indoor basketball games to be played in the Y.M.C.A. on Thursday night:— LADIES. A grade.—7 o'clock, Hugo & Shearer's v W.F.C.A.; 7.35, Rovers v Stock and Station; 8.30, C. Smith’s v Woolworths; 9 p.m., Hospital v Y.M.C.A. B grade.—7.2o, Cathie's v Garages; 8.45, Hosiery v Graham’s; 9.15, State Kitchenette v McKenzie's. MEN'S GAMES. 7.50. —W.F.C.A. v Reliance A; 8.10, State Kitchenette v Reliance B; 9.30, Bouzaid's v Vesta Batteries. Basketball enthusiasts are looking forward to this week's matches as the teams are very evenly matched and some more surprises may be expected. In the ladies A grade, the game, Hugo & Shearer’s v W.F.C.A., should provide plenty of excitement, as each team has lost one game. Graham’s, in the ladies’ B grade, had their first win last week and if they maintain this form a good game with Hosiery should result. Cathie's and Garages should stage a good game.
In the men’s section Bouzaid’s and Vesta Batteries should provide exciting basketball. Both these teams are showing better form with the inclusion of new players.
