WRESTLING
A HECTIC BOUT. BLOMFIELD BEATEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A hard, hectic wrestling bout, ended in Dan O’Connor beating SergeantMajor Lofty Blomfield on a penalty fall. The score was one fall each, Blomfield having successfully applied ’an octopus-clamp and O'Connor having pinned Blomfield after dazing him with tackles and a dropkick, when in a vigorous hurly-burly Blomfield drove a fist into O’Connor's face and midriff instead of the customary forearm or elbow. For this the referee declared O'Connor the winner.
