MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED

MASTERTON YOUTH SUFFERS FRACTURED LEG. ACCIDENT IN WELLINGTON. A compound fracture of the left leg was suffered by Donald Jenkin, 17, son of Mr and Mrs J. Jenkin, of Masterton, when a collision occurred in Wellington yesterday between a motor cycle he was riding and a lorry. The accident occurred at the intersection of Courtenay Place and Taranaki Street between noon and 1 p.m. Mr Jenkin, who is a member of the staff of the “Wairarapa Times-Age,” was on a weekend visit to Wellington. He was admitted to Wellington Hospital.
