VICTIMS OF AIR RAIDS ON PARIS GREAT MAJORITY CIVILIANS. USE OF DELAYED-ACTION EOMBS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 1.0 p.m.) PARIS. June 4. An official revealed that of 906 casualties in yesterday’s air raid, 254 were killed, including 195 civilians and 59 soldiers, and 652 were injured, including 545 civilians and 107 soldiers. In Central Paris 167 were killed and 332 injured. The War Ministry announces that it is established that 25 German planes were shot down during the raid. “The Times” Paris correspondent says the vilest feature of the raid was the use of delayed action bombs. One exploded twenty-four hours after the raid. It appears that, a liquid-air type of bomb was also used, with little fragmentation but a terrific blast.
