PRAYER & INTERCESSION

MEETING IN OPERA HOUSE TODAY. A RECORD ATTENDANCE. There was a record attendance at the public service of prayer, held under the auspices of the Masterton Ministers’ Association, in the Masterton Opera House from 12.30 to 1.30 o’clock today.

The President of the Ministers’ Association, the Rev. David McNeur, presided. -

The Revs J. Davie and T. V. Pearson read the lessons.

Inspiring addresses were given by the Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich and Major Mahaffle. Prayer and intercessions were lead by the Revs. V. V/. Joblin and Kings. In view of the present circumstances a similar service will be held at the same time, in the Opera House next Wednesday.
