WASHINGTON, June 2.
Henry Luce, editor of “Time” and “Life,” after a visit to President Roosevelt, broadcast, calling on President Roosevelt to say without qualification that he wants the defeat of Hitler and Nazi Germany. He also suggested that Mr Hoover, principal Presidental candidates, and other notable people, follow with the same statement as a notice of national unity. Mr Luce urged Congress to approve Senator Pepper's resolution.
