RETURN OF GIBRALTAR
DEMANDED BY SPANISH STUDENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MADRID, June 1. Coinciding with the arrival of Sir Samuel Hoare a.group of students demonstrated in Puerta del Sol, demanding Gibraltar for Spain. The British Embassy is heavily guarded. Spain's leading publicist, Manuel Aznar, in an article in the Press, said: “We want to demand Gibraltar, which Britain might just as well return to Spain, because the fortress lias lost its military value as the result of the rearmament of Spain.”
