SICK AND WOUNDED
ST JOHN AND RED CROSS APPEAL. MASTERTON TOTAL STILL GROWING. Donations to the sick and wounded fund in Masterton as the result of the joint appeal by the Red Cross Society and the St John Ambulance now total £2430 16s 9d. Some large donations have yet to be added to this total, which bids fair to reach the £3OOO mark. £5O DONATION. ACKNOWLEDGED EY MAYOR. . The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, acknowledges receipt of'a donation of £5O to the Red Cross Society and St John Ambulance sick and wounded fund from Mr H. A. Harcombe.
A donation previously acknowledged from “Twa Scots” as £2 should have appeared as £l.
