KITCHEN TEAS

IN HONOUR OF BRIDES-TO-BE. There were twenty-three, guests at a “kitchen tea” tendered to Miss Gwen Carle, in honour of her approaching marriage, by Mrs E. W. Allen, Carrington, and her daughters at Mrs R. H. Maxwell’s home in College Street, Masterton, this week. Gardes and competitions were enjoyed and a most enjoyable time was spent.

Mrs E. R. Jenkins, College Street, Masterton, was hostess at a “kitchen tea” held, in honour of the approaching marrjage of Miss Thelma Denbee. A pleasant time was spent with competitions, etc., and many useful presents were received by the-guest.
