JAPANESE DEMAND
VOICE IN WAR SETTLEMENT.

Official quarters say that Japan will demand a voice in any settlement of the European War, in order to protect her interests in the Netherlands East Indies. It is added that Japan cannot be indifferent to important changes in the status of territories within the Pacific zone.
