COAL MINERS
DECISION TO WORK ON HOLIDAY. MINISTER’S APPRECIATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Appreciation of the coal miners’ decision to work on Monday was expressed, today by the Minister of Mines (Mr Webb). He explained that the miners’ action was determined several days before the Government issued its proclamation postponing the holiday.
