Many organisations in city and country have passed resolutions demanding the establishment of a National Government and a more vigorous war effort. The Victorian Premier (Mr Dunstan) visiting Sydney, declared that he would like to see National all-party governments in all the States as well as in the Comrhonwealth. Sub-branches of the Returned Soldiers’ League have passed resolutions urging the organisation of the whole resources of the country and of its man-power, the internment of all enemy aliens, conscription without exemption for home defence and the introduction of a scheme for the protection of vulnerable points by members of the Returned Soldiers’ League.
