BRITISH “MALTREATMENT” OF PRISONERS.
ALLEGED NON-MILITARY BOMBING.

The German radio accuses British officers of maltreating prisoners. “Defenceless Greman prisoners,” it says, “were robbed, chained, beaten and exposed to German artillery.” It adds that “these crimes will be remembered and punished,” and repeats the charge that British planes are bombing nonmilitary objectives.
