The Allied forces in northern Norway have now driven the Germans out of the greater part of the Narvik area, including the capture of the port. A message from Stockholm states that Allied artillery now dominates the last seven miles of the railway from Narvik to Sweden. It is estimated that 3000 Germans have retreated to Rombaks heights after extensive destruction of the railway tunnels and a 900foot bridge. The German casualties and prisoners are estimated at 2000.
