TRUST ELECTION
THREE RETIRING MEMBERS RETURNED SMALL POLL RECORDED. ONLY TWENTY PER CENT VOTE. The poll held by the Masterton Trust Lands Trust yesterday resulted in the re-election of the three retiring members, Messrs R. Krahagen. H. P. Hugo, and R. Page. Only 20 per cent of those eligible to vote exercised their right. The Returning Officer, Mr A. W. McKenzie, announced the provisional returns last night as follow: — R. Krahagen 714 H. P. Hugo 674 R. Page 640 E. J. Esler 207 J. W. Lewis 138 Informal 3 There are 73 declaration votes to be counted but these cannot affect the result.
