ORDER OF DRUIDS
STONEHENGE LODGE. QUARTERLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. The quarterly summoned meeting of the Stonehenge Lodge of Druids was held in the Foresters’ Hall last night, the A.D., Bro A. G. Swinn presiding over a good attendance of brethren. Grand Lodge forwarded partial amendments to the rules which were accepted by the lodge.
Invitations to attend the installation of the officials of the Totara and Fernleaf lodges were accepted. The members visiting the sicks reported favourably on nine brethren on the sick benefit of the lodge. It was decided to present a P.A. Diploma and Collar to Bro N. F. Keightley on the completion of his term ol office.
A report was received concerning an enjoyable game of bowls played against the Foresters’ Lodge, the game resulting in a draw. The following officers were elected for the ensuing term: —J.P.A., Bro A. G. Swinn: A.D., Bro A. W. Hearle; V.A., Bro A. H. Mudgway; secretary, Bro H. A. R. Dunderdale; treasurer. Bro W._ R. Pawson; 1.G.. Bro C. N. Cole; 0.G., Bro N. F. Keightley; A.D.B.’s, Bros A. W. Russell and A. W. Pike; V.A.B.’s, Bros K. Welch and L. B. Welch; M.C.. Bro T. Pickett; musician, Bro C. F. Mills.
The installation of the officers will take place in the lodge room on Monday, June 10, when officers and members of the lodges in No 1 District will be present, after which a social will be held.
At the conclusion of the lodge business a very enjoyable social was held.
