FIJI CONTINGENT
PROPOSAL TO SEND 100 MEN OVERSEAS.

On the motion of Mr Barker, member for the Southern Division, the Legislative Council, unanimously decided to seek permission from the Secretary of State for the Colonies io send a contingent of 100 picked men overseas.
