TASTY FOR LUNCHEON
MACARONI AND CHEESE CROQUETTES.
Boil 2 cups macaroni in plenty of boiling salted water; drain and put through a mincer with !> cup cooked (cold) meat, add 2 tablespoons cooked bacon (finely chopped), 1 cup grated cheese, I teaspoon chopped parsley; if liked, a little grated onion. 1 cup thick white sauce to bind the mixture. Add seasoning to taste. Form into cork-shaped pieces, egg and breadcrumb, and fry in boiling fat until a nice golden colour. Drain well and serve with crisp bacon.
