WEDDING

RYAN—STIMPSON. A quiet wedding was recently celebrated at the Church of Epiphany, Masterton. when Clarice Mary (Molly) Stimpson, only daughter of Mrs and the.late J. Stimpson, Masterton, was married to Frederick Martin Ryan, eldest son of Mr and Mrs F. Ryan, of Lower Hutt. The officiating clergyman was the Rev V. Joblin. The bride was attired in a model orchid pink woollen frock with hat and accessories ■ of navy blue and carried a bouquet of pink roses and carnations. The duties of matron-of-honour were carried out by Mrs A. Rigg, cousin of the bride, who was dressed in a' green striped coat and plain skirt With black hat and accessories. She carried a posy of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums.

The best man was Mr A. Rigg, of Masterton. A reception was held afterwards in the Epiphany Hall, the guests being received by Mrs J. R. Stimpson, who wore a bldck ensemble with a shoulder spray of chrysanthemums, and Mrs F. Ryan, mother of the bridegroom, who wore a navy costume with shoulder spray of pink roses. The bouquets and sprays were made by Mrs J. Wagg. Mr and Mrs Ryan later left on a motor tour, the bride wearing an Air Force blue costume.

The future home of Mr and Mrs Ryan will be Lower Hutt.
