NAZI MASSACRE
BOMBING OF ROTTERDAM AT LEAST 100,000 PERSONS KILLED. ONE-FIFTH OF POPULATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. PARIS, May 20. The .Dutch Legation issued a statement that at least 100,000 persons—one-fifth of the population—hvere killed and one-third of the city destroyed when the Germans bombed Rotterdam.
Two squadrons of bombers in close formation dropped delayed-action bombs which ploughed a furrow of destruction. The bombers returned many times, continuing the monstrous destruction.
