KNOX CHURCH

LADIES’ GUILD. MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of Knox Ladies 1 Guild was held in Masterton when there was a good attendance of members. Mrs G. W. Morice was in the chair. After the meeting had been opened by Mrs M. McGregor, sympathetic reference was made to the loss sustained by Miss Cameron in the death of her sister. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames J. McGregor, Speedy and Willoughby. The secretary was directed to write to Mrs Beecroft thanking her for her donation of a table for the use of the Guild.

The Guild members were entertained with a travel talk by Miss Valentine on her recent trip to Norway and Sweden.

Mrs G. VZ .Morice thanked Miss Valentine for her informative talk. Pianoforte solos were given by Mrs Miller Hope and Miss Doreen Dagg. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess Mrs Dickel.

At the conclusion of the meeting the president passed a vote of thanks to Mrs Dickel and to those who had provided the programme.
