FRANCE & HER ALLIES DECLARATION BY GENERAL GAMELIN. GERMANY ENGAGED IN WAR TO DEATH. (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 10. General Gamelin, in an order of the day, said: “The attack which we have foreseen since October has been launched. Germany is engaged in war to the death against us. Here is the password for France and all her Allies: ‘Courage, energy and confidence.’ ” SELECTED OBJECTIVE DUTCH HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT. NEARBY BUILDING SET ON FIRE. (Received This Day, 8.20 a.m.) THE HAGUE, May 16. The Germans, aiming at the Houses of Parliament, dropped incendiary bombs which set fire to a nearby building. FALSE ENEMY CLAIM AERODROMES IN BELGIUM. It is authoritatively stated in London, Daventry reports, that German claims to have captured five Belgian aerodromes are without any foundation whatever. *
